My Ulta Haul from the 20% off Sale!

So I know I’m supposed to be on a no-buy, but I just had to place an order! It was the anniversary of me being a member of Ulta Rewards, so I had a 5x the points offer. Then, they emailed and were offering 20% off everything for Platinum members- even high end brands! So the hubby gave me the go ahead to place a bigger than normal order. Check out my new goodies from my Ulta haul:

Andalou Naturals Probiotic + C Renewal Cream

Even though the weather will get warmer soon and my oily side will probably come through, for right now it feels like my skin needs some extra boost. I grabbed this cream to use at night after I apply my Tarte Maracuja Oil. I thought it was reasonably priced and liked the added benefit of Vitamin C.

Derma E Vitamin C Concentrated Serum

Obviously, I’m on a Vitamin C skincare kick. I’ve heard it’s great for lightening acne scars and for uneven skin tone in general. I tried the Andalou Naturals one before and wasn’t “wowed” by the results so I wanted to try something new. I grabbed this because it was on sale and had good reviews. Here’s hoping I see some results!

Elf Cosmetics Mineral Infused Face Primer

I got this because I wanted to get a more hydrating primer to see if that would help my skin. It’s been a struggle to figure out what products to use when my skin is drier! I actually am not sure if this is going to do what I thought it would. But, I’m still excited to try it because it’s such an affordable primer (only $6!).

Maybelline Fit Me Matte+Poreless Foundation

This is actually a repurchase of this foundation. To be honest, I was not the biggest fan of this foundation the first few times I used it. The biggest pain for me is that there’s no pump! So if anyone knows of one that fits this bottle, let me know! I got the shade 128 this time instead of 120. I thought the 120 was a bit light and am hoping this will match me well now or be a hair darker for when I get some sun.

It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream- Travel Sized

This is another repurchase (well, kinda). I got a deluxe sample for free in another Ulta haul. I’m pretty sure I’m going to be obsessed with this. But I wanted to get the travel size and try it out for longer just in case. The full size does cost more too and I was trying to be at least semi-conscious of my no-buy. But I’m pretty confident that once my no-buy is done in July/August, this full size will be one of the first things I pick up!

Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Concealer in Light

This is another re-purchased product for me but another different shade. Last time I got Fair which was super light even for that highlighted look. So this time I got Light in the hopes it would be more subtle. I really loved this concealer the first time I got it so I’m hoping I still do! I actually have an inkling that this might be a dupe or very close to the Too Faced Born This Way concealer. So stay tuned!

Too Faced Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick in Child Star

I actually was not a huge fan of their original Melted Matte lipsticks but I think I was expecting them to be a long wearing formula. But that formula is literally a lipstick in liquid form. This is their true liquid lip formula so I’m excited to try it out! The shade is a bit more cool-toned than I want it to be but I can make it work with lip liner!

Rimmel London Provocolips Lip Color in I’ll Call You

This baby I basically only got to review. I got a bold color to really put it to the test too! I have heard such great things about this shade and I’m pretty sure this formula existed before the whole liquid lip trend. It’s unique in that it has the color on one side and a protective topcoat on the other. Since it’s like a system, I have high hopes for longevity. Full review coming for sure.

NYX Matte Lipstick in Eurotrash

I haven’t been huge into lipsticks at all since liquid lippies came on the market. But these lipsticks are so affordable and people rave about them! I can’t remember why this specific shade was on my list, but it was. Looks like it might technically be a perfect Fall shade, but I will rock this all year round!

Catrice Ultimate Color Lipstick in Nude-tastic

I have heard a couple people talk about these lipsticks, but not many. I hope that’s not a bad sign. But they’re crazy affordable- only $3.50! I grabbed this shade because I’m on the hunt for my perfect nude shade now. Sadly, I think this might be too pale for me. But I think I’m going to use it for that ombre lip trend for fuller lips!

Bare Minerals Gen Nude Buttercream Lip Gloss in Groovy

I’ll admit it. YouTube made me buy this. I saw both Jaclyn and KathleenLights rave about this so obviously it needed to be added to my collection. I’ve been exploring with glosses more lately and I kinda love the way it looks on my lips. But time will tell how I will feel about this formula!

Phew! Ok, that was everything from my latest Ulta haul! Full reviews are coming on most of these products. But if there’s one (or more!) that you’re dying to know about I can make it be the first on my list to try. So check back in to see my full thoughts! And as always, leave post and product suggestions in the comments!
