Today I want to talk about a new brand that I discovered thatIMG_3850 I am SO excited about! I am long overdue for another order from them because there are so many products I want to try. I wanted to share what I have so far though- I highly suggest you check out ColourPop if you haven’t heard of them already!

My first (and only) order so far focused on lip products. I was AMAZED at their Lippie Stix and Lippie Pencils. The quality for the price is awesome! I first discovered this brand from KathleenLights on YouTube (check out her channel here if you don’t know her). She’s quickly becoming one of my favorites. Ok, enough talk- let’s get down to business (anyone else now have Mulan in their heads?)

Lumiere Lippie Stix & Pencil

This color was one of the main reasons I placed my first order- this is KathleenLights first collab with ColourPop. This is also the reason for my obsession! This color is described as a “matte dusty mauve”IMG_3865 on the website. The formula of this is seriously amazing! It’s creamy and honestly probably the longest lasting lipstick type product I own.

The first time I wore this I paired both the pencil and the Lippie Stix went to a friends housewarming party. There were hors d’erves and tons and tons of wine consumed. We were there for hours and my lip color was still intact! Now this isn’t a liquid lipstick so it does transfer and isn’t kiss proof but I was so impressed that the color lasted for so long!

Button Lippie Stix & Pencil

Button looks way different on me than I anticipated- but I still like it! The pencil to this one is also different than the rest of the ones that I bought.

IMG_3861The Lippie Stix is described as “pale creamy peach nude” and is in a satin finish but the pencil is different (which I should have paid attention to when I bought it).

The pencil matches the Lippie Stix but it’s a different color.  The pencil color is described as a “mid tone warm nude.” On my skin tone, this is more of that trendy brown nude shade. It totally fits with the current trend of darker liner to a lighter inner part of the lip so pairing these two together makes your lips look fuller. Trends made easy- no guesswork with this combo!

Bichette Lippie Stix & Pencil

I wanted to get a bold red color to test out because I feel like those kinds of colors really show a lot in terms of color payoff. The color payoff was great IMG_3863and could be built up if you wanted that intense deep red shade (which I love!) This color on their website is described as a “deep wine” and is in a matte finish. It’s a great red and matching the two together really helps with the staying power.

LBB Lippie Stix

This shade is veryyy different for me. I love a bold lip but I’ve never been able to venture into purple hues. I’m nervous it doesn’t mesh well with IMG_3864my skintone or will wash me out somehow. SO I got this color to force myself out of my comfort zone and try a deep plum for the fall. This shade is described online as a “rich plum wine” and is in a matte finish. I usually pair this with the Bichette lippie pencil to try and gradually make myself more comfortable with the plum color. Looking back, I wish I would have just got the LBB pencil to match- if they’re going to make it this easy to pair pencils and lip colors, why not take advantage!?!

All in all, I am IN LOVE with these products and still can’t believe how affordable they are! Each item was $5. Yes, you read that right- FIVE. DOLLARS. And I reach for these so much more than any other lip product I own. You can’t beat the price for the quality of these. Have you tried Colourpop? Which are your faves!?
