All About Lips: My 3 Fav Pink Lippies

So this lip series is turning out to be harder than I thought it would be! These shades can mean so many different things to different people. For my fav pink lippies, I tried to keep it varied. There’s a muted pink, a pink pink, and a bolder pink. Hopefully one of these shades is up your alley as well!

ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip in November

First up is an Ultra Satin Lip from ColourPop. This shade was a collab with KathleenLights and is described as a peachy pink. I love the peach undertones in this because it compliments my skintone so well. The formula of this is also awesome! It’s creamier than their Ultra Mattes so they’re less dry on the lips. That being said, it’s not 100% transfer proof so you will see this on your mug or glass. But that’s the trade-off you get for comfort. On my lips, this is like a true pink but with warmer undertones. This formula is one of my favs because it lasts so long on my lips and the color doesn’t fade easily even though it transfers. ColourPop actually just released a whole Pink collection of lippies as part of their Spring collection and there’s one I’m just dying to try!

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Born With It (015)

Now for another affordable formula, but this one you can snag at your local drugstore! The Color Sensational lipsticks from Maybelline are a great formula, and this shade is a great everyday pink. The cheapest price is at Target but be on the lookout for sales at Ulta which might make it cheaper there. And you’ll get points that way! I always forget how creamy this formula is until I go to use it. It just glides onto the lips so nicely! On my lips this has a nice natural satin finish and is more of a muted pink. And this color is so natural to begin with and gives off a nice payout. This is another amazing formula from the drugstore and it comes in so many different shades if this one isn’t your style!

Tarte Tarteist Lip Paint in So Fetch

Last but not least is the bold pink! I first wore this shade to a friend’s wedding and I was so impressed with how long it lasted. I don’t think it was 100% transfer proof but the color lasted all night- even through the after party! This formula is more of a moussey texture so it is more comfortable on the lips. The applicator is what really threw me off though. This one is long and thing and is kinda on an angle! But I actually like it because it makes outlining your lips really easy. This was super long wearing and comfortable for my lips, but after trying their Quick Dry Lip Paints, I think I definitely prefer those! They’re a tad more drying and the formula is more of a liquid. But there’s no transfer and the wand is a curved doe foot- application is a total breeze!

So there are my fav pink lippies in a variety of different finishes and undertones! I hope you enjoyed this post and are loving my lips series so far. Next Saturday will be all about the bold shades so get excited!
