ColourPop Haul- New Face Palette & Blotted Lips!

Sooooo because I placed an Ulta order I figured I’d just stay on the “break the no-buy” train and place an order for ColourPop too. I had been seriously sitting on my hands to stop myself from buying anything else. So I just gave in. Sorry not sorry. I want to get even more but am trying to go back to the previously scheduled no buy. Self control is hard!

L to R: Fire Fly, Conundrum, Boxer, Top Notch

Eye Products

So I loved their pressed powder shadows so much in my original order that I just had to order more. I wanted to get another cool toned shade because I’ve been trying to experiment with different tones on my eyes. I grabbed the shade Fire Fly to get a cool toned beige for a brow bone highlight. Or really to incorporate in whatever cool toned look I do. Then I got Take the Lead which is a cool toned grey. It’s not as deep as I wanted but actually haven’t dipped into it at all yet. Then I went back to my fav tones: Conundrum as a great matte brown for the crease and added dimension. And I couldn’t resist Boxer for those summer bronze looks I want to rock 24/7. Since I ordered 4 pressed shadows, I got an empty palette for free which was awesome!

Face Products

I just got one face product but I’ve been dying to try these new duos for so long now! It was a serious struggle between Double Play and The Knockout. I grabbed Double Play because the blush looked a tad more neutral and I’m obsessed with champagne type highlights. The blushes are similar in my opinion but the highlights looked pretty distinct. I freaking love the peachy undertones of the The Knockout. So let’s be honest I’ll probably be ordering that before they take away this Spring collection. I’m not sure if I’ll do a dedicated post to just this palette since I just have the one shade. But if you’re dying to know my thoughts, I’d be happy to share. So let me know if that’s something you want to see!

Top to Bottom: Out of Beach, Zuma, Drip, On a Stick

Lip Products

This was the irresistible part that made order in the first place. I just had to get my hands on this new formulation! The whole concept seemed right up my alley. Plus I think this is perf for Spring and Summer! I got 2 shades of the Blotted Lip and 2 of the Ultra Blotted Lip. For the Blotted Lip, I chose Drip, a neutral rosy mauve and On a Stick which is more of a bold coral. For the Ultra Blotted Lip I grabbed Zuma, a warm toned mauve and Out of Beach, a bright coral.  Notice a trend in shades? In seeing more swatches, I already know I’m going back for Double Scoop and maybe Sucker. There will 100% be a dedicated post to these lips!

So those are all the goodies I picked up in my most recent haul. Of course, I already have more that I have my eye on. But I swear I am going to be good now and stay on my no-buy until summer. I’m trying to stay good until we go on vacation in August but that sounds like such a struggle. So we’re saying “summer” for now to make me feel better about life. Ok? Ok great.
