ColourPop Haul

November 23, 2017Haul, , , , Standard

Soooo Colourpop had a 20% off sale and I just couldn’t resist. They have launched soooo many products since I last ordered and I needed to try as many as I could! This is one of the best discounts they have all year. Last year’s Black Friday was also 20% off so I knew it was a good bet to go ahead and order. I got a little bit of everything, so I’ll go over it pretty quickly. I think I’ll end up doing full reviews on most of the new formulas!

Pressed Bronzer in Private Party

My first impression is that this sucker is HUGE! Which makes the $7 price tag even sweeter. For comparison, a Makeup Geek blush is 4.25 grams and $10. This bronzer is 7 grams of product so you get more product for less money! I am hoping this will be a nice, natural bronzer that I can use on a daily basis. It does look to have a warm undertone so I don’t think I’ll be able to get away with thus to contour, but that’s fine by me.

SuperShock Cheek in Quarters

This shade is one I see raved about all of the time. It’s one of the top favorites of the employees at ColourPop and I finally remembered to pick it up! It is their SuperShock formula so it is basically a cream. This is a pinky coral shade which is my fav color family to use on my cheeks. This is essentially a super smooth cream to powder formula. I do have to play around with different application methods still though!

Pressed Blush in To The 10

Their pressed blushes are also a pretty new formula so I decided to pick one up. This shade is like a warm mid-tone pink which is outside my coral peach range. But for the price I figured I could try it out and see how I feel! This does look to be slightly peachy in the swatches online though. Oh, and this is another huge pan so definitely worth the price!

SuperShock Highlight in Lunch Money

This is another cult favorite and best selling highlight from ColourPop. I was between this shade and another popular one, Flexitarian. This is another SuperShock formula so it is that super smooth cream that transforms into a powder when applied. I’ve used a duo fibre brush and my finger to apply this formula. I think I prefer my finger but this formula is so intense and I’m excited to try this shade!

No Filter Concealer in Light Neutral 15

I was so surprised when this concealer first came out because it’s really ColourPop’s first shot at base products. It’s gotten pretty good reviews from what I’ve seen. And it’s more affordable than some drugstore concealers! I picked up the shade Light Neutral because I have heard it oxidizes some after you first apply it. I’m hoping it will still give me a slightly brightened effect under the eyes even after it oxidizes a little.

iLoveSarahii Collab: Pressed Powder Palette in Chic-y

I wasn’t planning to pick up this palette at all. But I was hoping to snag a deep brown shade but didn’t see any singles that stood out to me. Then I saw this palette and it looked like it was full of essential shades. Freckles is a great looking transition shade and Noche looks like a great deep shade to give depth to the eye. And not only that but you also have Distressed which looks like a great matte highlight shade. If you haven’t tried this formula and are looking for a “starter kit” of shadows, this looks like a great option!

KathleenLights Collab: Aquarius Lip Trio

I am a huge fan of Kathleen’s and her collabs with ColourPop are always great. I was so tempted when this trio came out because her Aquarius shade is a great everyday staple. The Matte shade is a little cooler toned than I usually wear. But it’s also a good excuse to try something outside of my comfort zone! I have a feeling I will be obsessed with the Satin and Gloss formulas in this lip trio though!

I also grabbed an empty Colourpop magnetic palette because my collection has outgrown the palette I snagged a while ago. This empty palette is also a great alternative to a large Z palette. It’s a little narrower- it fits one less column of shadows, so 4 fewer. But it’s only $8, so less than half of a large Z palette. I can’t wait to play with these new goodies and would love to hear your thoughts if you’ve tried any of these products!
