I’ve been testing out quite a bit of new products lately, and there are a few tests that have gone well! But since I’ve really only been testing them out for a week or two, I didn’t want to include any of them in this post. Maybe next month! Anyways, these are the products I want to shout out this month:
I make it a point to mention this mascara every so often because it is seriously one of my fav mascaras! I literally use this every day for my lower lash line because it’s great at grabbing even the smallest lashes. It is a high end mascara so it retails for $24 but I recently grabbed a fresh tube when it was on sale at Ulta! When I want to do a lighter makeup look, this is my go to mascara for both my top and bottom lashes. It really helps to lengthen and separate every little lash. If this mascara also gave me solid volume, it would easily be my top all time mascara. But besides that, Roller Lash is great for my lighter makeup days!
I got this eyeliner in my a recent ipsy bag, which was a great pick for me. I already own a different shade of this same formula, so I knew I was going to be a fan. I thought I already owned the black shade but boy was I wrong! This shade is a deep, intense black and is rich in pigment. It glides onto the lid so easily and I love the definition it gives to the eyes. This is one of the best wooden eyeliners I’ve tried, and I’m a bit of an eyeliner hoarder so that’s saying a lot! Plus this eyeliner comes in 36 different colors so you can get super creative with these eyeliners.
I recently did a full review on this palette but it has become one of my go-tos. So I figured I had to mention it again! The shades in this palette are pretty trendy at the moment but I think they’re pretty wearable as well. I love pairing these shades with black eyeliner on my top lashes and a white liner in my water line. It gives a wide eyed, almost retro feel to the eye look that I have been loving lately. Candle is probably the most disappointing shade in the whole palette but I don’t have major issues with any of the others! I love using the shades Warmth and Cozy in the crease and the outer V. I also love all of the other shimmer shades for lid colors and even along the lower lash line for a pop of interest!
Ok last time I checked, this highlight was still in stock but today it’s not. This highlight was part of the DesixKaty collection with Dose of Colors. It is definitely a true gold shade with just the right mix of yellow. I always get nervous that gold shades will pull too yellow but this shade is perfection. It was my first experience with Dose of Colors highlights and this formula did not disappoint! It is definitely metallic and is not for the faint of heart. If you prefer subtle highlights, you would not have liked this shade. But if you want an intense glow, try to look up dupes for this or go with their other collab shade, Mirame.
This is an oldie but a goodie for me. I’m pretty sure this blush was my very first product from Milani. In case you haven’t tried them out, their products are now available at Ulta! This blush does have a sheen to it so I usually only pair this blush with foundations that are more matte. This shade used to be a pretty close dupe for NARS Orgasm which is much more expensive but I do think they tweaked the shade since I bought mine. This formula is smooth and has great pigment. It applies evenly to the cheeks and gives a nice flush of color. The shade is very natural looking so it’s great to use on an everyday basis.
Now that November has come to a close, I am super excited to check out holiday sets and create wish lists for myself to grab after the holidays. Stay tuned for shopping lists if you have a makeup lover you need to shop for! Oh and expect a major Ulta haul when they announce their next 20% sale. I have some rewards points that are burning a hole!
